We are pleased to announce that the 2006 Summer Food Service Program handbooks are being published on the attached Compact Disc (CD). The CD includes updated versions of the Administrative Guidance for Sponsors, Site Supervisor’s Guide (English), Site Supervisor’s Guide (Spanish) and the Monitor’s Guide. The handbooks will also be available on our website. Making the handbooks available on CD and the website, rather than the previous paper version, will assure prompt access to the electronic documents, and is the most efficient way of making the updated versions available.
Please note that the Nutrition Guidance for Sponsors handbook is not included on the CD. The handbook requires significant revisions as a result of the newly published 2005 Dietary Guidelines for Americans and the new Food Guide Pyramid.
