WIC EBT is an electronic system that replaces paper food checks
or vouchers with a card for food benefit issuance and redemption at
authorized WIC grocery stores. The use of electronic cards is
growing and all WIC State agencies are required to implement WIC
electronic benefit transfer (EBT) statewide by October 1, 2020.

Management Information Systems (MIS) of
FNS WIC provides technical assistance and project
oversight for State Agency partnership activities.
Our goals are to provide guidance and proper stewardship
on projects such as the WIC State Agency Model (SAM) as
well as other activities WIC partners must accomplish
for successful MIS project planning, implementation and
management of Federal funds.
