Amended P.L. 93-134, the Judgement Award Authorization Act, to require the exclusion of per capita payments under the Indian Judgment Fund Act (judgement awards) of $2,000 or less from income and resources. The exclusion applies to each payment made to each individual. Initial purchases made with exempt payments distributed between Jan. 1, 1982 and Jan. 12, 1983, are excluded from resources to the extent that excluded funds were used.

Amended P.L. 93-134, the Judgement Award Authorization Act, to extend the exclusion in P.L. 97-458 to cover per capita payments from funds which are held in trust by the Secretary of the Interior (trust fund distributions). Puerto Rico, nutrition assistance program. Food Stamp Program

Extended Puerto Rico's authority to provide cash food assistance through September 30, 1985; required USDA to study the Commonwealth's program and report to Congress.
Allowed the Secretary additional MRRB waiver authority to shorten or extend certification periods, calculate household income prospectively, and permit other forms of reporting. Also, limited reporting by MRRB households to the monthly report.
Allowed States to wage match from sources other than State unemployment or Social Security records under certain circumstances.
