SNAP Monthly Benefit Issuance Schedule
 

SOUTH CAROLINA Benefits are made available from the 1st to the 10th of every month, based on the last digit of the SNAP case number:
 
FS case number ends in: 1 = benefits available on the 1st of the month
FS case number ends in: 2 = benefits available on the 2nd of the month
FS case number ends in: 3 = benefits available on the 3rd of the month
FS case number ends in: 4 = benefits available on the 4th of the month
FS case number ends in: 5 = benefits available on the 5th of the month
FS case number ends in: 6 = benefits available on the 6th of the month
FS case number ends in: 7 = benefits available on the 7th of the month
FS case number ends in: 8 = benefits available on the 8th of the month
FS case number ends in: 9 = benefits available on the 9th of the month
FS case number ends in: 0 = benefits available on the 10th of the month

Effective September 2012, the issuance schedule will extend from the current first 10 days of each month to the first 19 days of each month. This change in issuance will immediately affect new applicants who have applied beginning September 1, 2012 and are approved for monthly benefits beginning October 2012. On-going current recipients WILL NOT CHANGE their issuance cycle. Current recipients who subsequently have a break in benefit receipt will fall into the new issuance cycle.

New issuance cycle:
Benefits are made available for new and re-entering applicants applying as of September 1, 2012 from the 1st to the 19th of every month, based on the last digit of the SNAP case#:
FS case # ends in: 1 = benefits available on the 11th of the month
FS case # ends in: 2 = benefits available on the 2nd of the month
FS case # ends in: 3 = benefits available on the 13th of the month
FS case # ends in: 4 = benefits available on the 4th of the month
FS case # ends in: 5 = benefits available on the 15th of the month
FS case # ends in: 6 = benefits available on the 6th of the month
FS case # ends in: 7 = benefits available on the 17th of the month
FS case # ends in: 8 = benefits available on the 8th of the month
FS case # ends in: 9 = benefits available on the 19th of the month
FS case # ends in: 0 = benefits available on the 10th of the month
