Handout Display Case
St. Joseph, Indiana

All city offices in St. Joseph County, Indiana display forms, handouts and pamphlets inside a wall-mounted glass case with each item clearly identified with a number. Customers ask at the reception window for the item numbers they would like. Staff is assigned to update and maintain materials displayed in the cabinet as well as maintain an organized, adequate supply for the clerical staff. This practice keeps the waiting room orderly and free from wasted handouts and it reduces costs of producing and supplying materials. Customers like being able to request only the materials they really wanted including nutrition education materials.

Suggestion: Carefully consider the placement of the cabinet. Avoid disrupting traffic flow.
