The Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) is responsible for the purchase and distribution of Group A-type commodities which include: beef, pork, fish, fruits, vegetables, chicken, turkey, egg products, goose, and fowl products delivered to States and eligible recipients participating the USDA Food Distribution Programs.
