Social media is used by almost everyone and we hope that you're able to find the USDA Food and Nutrition Service (FNS) within all of these communities. We want to share and converse with you. Now here is where we boldly ask you to follow us, like us, or subscribe to us.

FNS social media tools
Three ways for you to keep in touch with us: Twitter, E-updates, and USDA blog.

By following @USDANutrition on Twitter, not only will you be updated in real time on FNS programs and other hot topics, but you will have the opportunity to communicate with us, share your ideas with us, and help spread the word by ReTweeting information to your followers.

Additionally, you can "like" the U.S. Department of Agriculture page on Facebook so that you can receive updates from FNS and other USDA agencies. USDA has an amazing mission and the impact of the USDA's work truly touches every person in America (and many around the world). USDA also maintains a blog at, where you can read stories written by actual USDA staff, including Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack, himself. At the USDA blog, you can search by category or keyword to populate the blog entries of most interest to you. It's that simple.

But it doesn't stop there, folks.

In fact, the very E-update you are reading right now is one method FNS uses to inform readers of the great things happening now in the world of Food and Nutrition. If you haven't already, click here to sign up for Eupdates email, which delivers E-update headlines to your inbox twice a month. If you're an FNS partner with a signed partnership agreement form, consider writing a story for E-updates. For questions concerning e-update submissions, please email
