Contact the school food service director at nearby school districts.
Consult your State Departments of Education and Agriculture to inquiry if the State employs a Farm to School Coordinator to assist in finding local school districts.
Consult the State Department of Education for a list of school districts within the State.
Ask neighboring farms that are involved in Farm to School efforts how they got started.
Attend a local PTA or school board meetings to express your interest to parents, teachers, and board members.
Attend a local Farm to School meeting to meet with school districts and learn about their product needs.
Consult local non-profit organizations focused on local food systems to help facilitate the connection with local school districts.
