Seamless Summer Option
The "Seamless Summer" is now a permanent option
for school districts participating in the National School Lunch Program
or School Breakfast Program. Authorized by the Child Nutrition and WIC
Reauthorization Act of 2004, the Seamless Summer Option
streamlines the administrative and monitoring
requirements for school districts operating a summer meal program
children within their community.
