Produce Safety Training Materials
  USDA’s Food and Nutrition Service and Agriculture Marketing Service developed training materials on produce safety that presents information on GAP, GHP, school gardens and farm to school.
 
Serving It Safe, 3rd Edition
  Developed by the National Food Service Management Institute, Serving it Safe provides foodservice personnel with up-to-date information for managing a safe and sanitary foodservice operation. The chapters cover topics such as, prevention of food borne illness, food borne illness prevention and food safety programs in schools.
 
The HACCP Journey in School Foodservice
  This resource from Iowa State University will help train school staff on how to implement a Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) plan.
 
Wash your Hands: Educating the School Community
  This toolkit from NFSMI provides a video, posters and classroom activities to promote hand washing in English and Spanish.
 
Food Safety Toolkit
  These instructional modules from Purdue University include presentations, tool, activities and resources for food service employee trainers. Additional modules help managers develop and implement cleaning programs and incorporate HACCP at their facility.
 
Food Safety Streaming Video Library
  The Public Health Department of Seattle and King Counties provides several food safety videos and booklets. Many of the resources are available in several languages.
