GLICKMAN TO UNVEIL FOOD STAMP EDUCATION CAMPAIGN IN
BALTIMORE, URGE CITIES AND STATES TO ACT TO HELP WORKING FAMILIES

WASHINGTON, Aug. 13, 1999 Agriculture Secretary Dan Glickman will join Baltimore Mayor Kurt Schmoke and Maryland Secretary of Human Resources Linda Fox at the Penn North food stamp office in Baltimore at 10:30 a.m.. on Tuesday, August 17, to unveil a nationwide education campaign targeting individuals and families who are eligible for, but not receiving, food stamps.

The launch of a nationwide education campaign to inform
