Promote adoption of
healthy dietary patterns and regular
physical activity among individuals,
families and communities based on key
messages in the Dietary Guidelines for
Americans. (Use/adapt Team Nutrition,
Loving Support, Eat Smart. Play Hard.TM,
and other national resources whenever
possible.)
Objective 1:
By September, 2006, reach over 10,000 Wisconsin residents with 3 My
Pyramid educational messages in settings such as WIC, public schools,
senior meal sites, food pantries and child and adult care centers.

By September, 2006, reach over 10,000 food stamp eligible WI residents
with lessons and activities promoting physical activity and healthy food

revise, if necessary, the master plan
for the Wisconsin Nutrition Education
Network's (WHEN) Learner Centered
Education Project, 2007 - 1010.

the feasibility a Joint conference:
WIC and WNEP are planning a joint
conference for local staff in June,
2008. The objectives are: 1) improve

Centered Approaches, and 3) provide
opportunities for improved local
collaboration between Extension and
WIC.
