Disaster SNAP Guidance:
Policy Guidance, Lessons Learned, and Toolkits to Operate
a Successful D-SNAP

The new D-SNAP Guidance builds on lessons learned from recent disasters to clarify existing policy, increase integrity controls, and provide improved templates and other resources to facilitate the D-SNAP request, approval, and implementation process. This document replaces the previous version issued in 2008. Publication of the accompanying D-SNAP Toolkits for State Agencies and Regional Offices is anticipated this summer.
