Summer Food Service Program

 Introductory Webinars

Each summer, 18 million students are at risk of going hungry when the school year ends and school lunches are no longer available. For many children, school meals are the only complete and nutritious meals they eat, and in the summer they go without. The Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) fills that nutrition gap.

Your organization can make sure children get the nutritious meals they need. These webinar sessions explain how. The sessions are designed to provide a high level overview of the program.

Every “introductory” webinar session covers the same content. Following the overview of SFSP, the session covers resources and tools available to help get started with SFSP, successful outreach practices and tips, next steps and how to get involved, and then the session will open for questions and answers with USDA FNS staff.
